One of the problems I have when it comes to shopping for women fashion clothes is the lack of time to actually go shopping. It’s a good think I know my size so I can just go ahead and log onto the internet and shop online. I have gotten it down to a science of how to shop online thanks to my friend, Kim, who is also my fashion mentor.
Kim works in the same office as I do and she is an expert when it comes to women clothes and fashion. She knows where to find the best female clothes on sale and is all about women power when it comes to clothes. She does not feel that she should have to wear clothing that is unfeminine in order to be taken seriously at work. She wears clothes that are flattering but are appropriate for the office.
While some women refuse to dress their age or size will struggle with clothing that is too trendy or too tight for them, Kim knows her limitations. She wears clothes that fit and are age appropriate. I have had occasion to visit her at home and have seen that she also dresses the same way at home. She always looks relaxed and stylish, even when doing her gardening.
There are some women who just wear clothes well and Kim is one of these women. Yesterday, to our combined surprise, our boss Shirley asked Kim for advice on an outfit. Apparently, Kim’s fashion sense has come to the notice of other people too and not just me. Shirley wanted to know what type of dress she should wear to a certain function and held up two dresses. I could see that the first one was not for Shirley as it was a long dress and Shirley is very small in stature. I wondered what Kim would tell her.
Kim told her that the one dress, which is the one I would have chosen, was better for Shirley than the long dress because of her height. She then suggested some accessories that would make the dress look more like a business casual dress rather than an evening dress. Then, to my surprise and Shirley’s delight, she sketched some accessories that can make the dress into an evening dress.
Shirley was very pleased with this information about women fashion and was ever so grateful to Kim for her advice. With her uncanny knack for women fashion clothes, Kim is truly a women fashion mentor. In my opinion she should really have a job as a women clothes consultant instead of in our office as a secretary.
